Ingredients
- 2C Flour
- 1T Baking Powder
- 1T Sugar
- 2t Salt
- 1T Honey
- ¾C Milk
Directions
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl
- Add honey and Milk and combine
- Turn out on a well floured surface and briefly kneed to combine well
- Divide the dough into two balls and let rest for ~10 minutes
- Take one of the balls and roll it out to roughly ~⅛" thickness (should make roughly a 12" diameter circle)
- Cut the dough into ~4" squares/rectangles/triangles as you like
- Fry the dough in shortening (peanut oil works well)
- the oil should be deep enough so the dough can float as you fry it
