Great sandwich bread!
Ingredients
- 2c Flour
- 1T Flax Seeds
- ½c Oatmeal (instant is fine but rolled is best)
- Dash of Salt
- 1½T Dry Milk or ¼c Milk (note: subtract this amount from water)
- 1½T butter (or ½T butter + 1T of Honey + 1T of Applesauce)
- 2T Molasses or Sorgham
- 2T Potato Fakes (for moistness)
- 1T Gluten (not required but definitely helps the bread rise)
- 1¼c Warm Water (note: if using Milk (not dry milk) then use only 1c Water)
- 1⅔t Dry Yeast
Directions
- Combine dry ingredients
- Add wet ingredients
Makes a medium size loaf of bread perfect for sandwiches.
Add fruit at the raisin beep (appx 75 minutes in) if you so choose.
