This was a definite rain day! The morning was nice, it started raining around noon and was still going at 10pm. Most of the time it was a heavy drizzle but there were long stretches of heavy rain. Hopefully it washed the remainder of the pollen away for the summer.

We started the day with yard work, finished up trimming and the kids caught bugs for willie and larrie. Apparently 3/4 of their bugs were misquitos so they were left with 4 bugs, two of which escaped along the way somewhere.

After yard work we did morning exercise - kai and dad ran while the twins rode bikes. Once we made it to the black top it was smooth sailing but the big hill by the house made it tough going for everyone. Ended up going to the railroad tracks and back - little over 2 miles.
